When did you get into art:I have enjoyed drawing for as long as I can remember, but after pushy parents wouldnt shut up about trying to get a career as an illustrator I gotr a bit sick of although recently I have been enjoying many different forms of visual art. mainly photography, drawing and photoshop stuff.

What got you into art: Boredom, and a love of comics and cartoons

Favorite style of art:Hmm, thats a tuffy, it really depends on my mood but to narrow it down just anything with an abstracty dark feeling stuff like Tim Burton and Jhonen Vasquez.

Favorite medium of art: Photography, Digital drawings/paintings.

What you do in the comics: Colouring and possibly Panel layout (Im not too sure about this as I have not recieved confirmation.

Future plans: Ummm, I would really like to become more than a freelance photojournalist and gain permanent employment with some form of magazine that covers music and to buy an octopus...

When did you get into art: I started to get into art seriously in January 2006, in which I decided to give up becoming an enginneer and decided that being an artist would make for an interesting job. I mean I used to do doodles and sketches of comic-like characters but nothing serious at all. So yeah technically I've only been an artist for about 6 months.

What got you into art: The fact that I hated my first math class in college and how my fiancee kept bugging me to become an art major like herself (which she just recently decided to change majors XD)

Favorite style of art: I like darker settings with an emphasis on motion and gravity to a piece more than anything else. And I greatly prefer drawing to any other type of art their is (I'm a horrible painter lol)

Favorite medium of art: Ink! I just love the stuff and what you can do with it. I've only really been using ink in my artwork for 3 months now but already I feel I can do better with it then with a pencil that I've been using my entire life!

How you became part of arcanum-arcanorum: After writing my own script for the first issue of my own comic and trying to work on another comic with an old friend who never really did anything at all I learned that it's almost impossible to make a really good comic on your own, it's just too much work for one person. So I posted on the forum to see if anyone interested on working on a comic and here we are now!

What you do in the comics: Well when we finally start on the artwork I will be inking it.

Future plans: In my personal life I want to transfer to California State University San Jose to persue a Bachelor's in Fine Arts in Animation/Illustration. For the comic here on deviantart I hope to complete it and if things go really well I would absolutely love to work on more stuff with the rest of the group here and possible come up with our own series!

When did you get into writing: On and off since I left school. Mostly creating fantastic countries and places and comedy prose for my own enjoyment. Over the past three months my interest in poetry has taken off and I've been working hard at freeverse and haiku.

Favorite style of writing: Haiku is the most curt, precise and beautiful written art I can think of. It's more than just a pattern of 5, 7, and 5 syllables. Its a snapshot of a moment in nature, an image of a phenomenom. Often haiku compare one subject or event with another for effect. 5-7-5 is not necessary in English, because Japanese Onji are slightly shorter than syllables. Most English haiku tend to be around 3-5-3 although some vary wildly. Either way, there's more to haiku than simply a very curt nature poem.

How you became part of arcanum-arcanorum: =justsomedude86 brought this project to my attention via the writer's forum. I have wanted to write a comic strip for a while now, but my artistic talents are with words and concepts rather than pictures.

What you do in the comics: I shall be writing the story and then waiting for the resulting artwork with some excitement.

Future plans: My other ambitions are in politics. I am hoping to stand for election as a Liberal Democrat member of the Poole District Council next year. I would also be interested in partaking in a series if the first work is completed.

When did you get into art: From the time I was born. Art runs in the familly ( my sister, my mom, my grandma and my great grandmother are all/were artists too).

What got you into art: Well watching my mom painting on rainy Saturdays and wanting to do the same! I would draw and she`d keep telling me little things I needed to corect (espescially in anatomy!)

Favorite style of art : I personally love anime and manga the most (that was the first thing I wouldn`t scrap 40 pages of paper over either), but ask me to do anything and I can do it! Just might take me more time though. I personally hate abstract art , it just seems too easy.

Favorite medium of art: I don`t really have any… wax, pencil, ink, pastel (soft and hard) , paint (oil and arcylic), water colors, charcoal, name em I can use them. Since I have a crappy scanner, anything that is coloured isn`t rendered properly, so I am learning to use photoshop!

How you became part of arcanum-arcanorum: I saw a post on a forum and desided to try it out! Hey I am making my own comic, but working with others would be much more fun!

What you do in the comics: I am Webmaster and character designer! Any comments you receive from this site are from me and all the characters you see are my own (so if I sound bitchy or the characters look crappy, I am to blame!)

Future plans: My personaly life I am finishing up cegep, and then I am finishing a one year 3d animation program. When my boyfriend finishes his rcmp training, we`ll be buying a house (and kittens!!!). Here for this comic, what I would really love would be for it to be sucessful and to have some completly random strangers talking about it (to have something that I worked on be know by strangers is one of my many dreams)
